Terms and conditions

These are the terms under which MJA Allround Bouw, Murnserdyk 46 A, 8573 WP Mirns, Chamber of Commerce (KvK) number 80714471, works. We keep it plain. If your quote says something different from this page, the quote prevails.

This page is a translation for your convenience. The Dutch version of these terms is the leading version. If there is any difference between the two, the Dutch text prevails.

Quote

After the site visit you receive a fixed quote with the agreed work. It states what we will do, the price that applies and how long the quote is valid. The assignment is agreed once you have accepted the quote.

Execution

• We carry out the work as set out in the quote, with the care you can expect from a skilled firm.
• We agree the schedule with you in advance. Outdoor work depends on the weather, so a date can shift. If it does, we let you know in good time.
• You make sure we have good access to the work, that the space is available and that we can use water and electricity where needed.
• At the end we go through the work together.

Extra work

Sometimes you only come across something during the work that could not be seen beforehand, for example wood rot under the paint. You may also want something extra yourself. We always discuss such extra work with you first, including the price. We only start once you agree.

Payment

How and when you pay is set out in the quote and on the invoice. If you do not pay on time, we first send a reminder. If payment still does not follow, we may charge statutory interest and reasonable collection costs, as far as the law allows. The Dutch VAT rate is shown per item on the quote.

Guarantee

The guarantee period is always stated in your quote. With a long-term maintenance plan a 10-year guarantee applies. The guarantee covers the work we have carried out. It does not cover damage caused by other use, by the work of others or by a defect unrelated to our work.

Liability

We work carefully and put right any mistake that is our fault. Our liability is limited to what the law allows. The rights you have as a consumer under the law always remain in place.

Complaints

Is something not right? Let us know within a reasonable time after you discover it, preferably with a photo, at contact@mjaallroundbouw.nl or +31 6 3006 0558. We will then look for a solution together. If we cannot work it out between us, Dutch law applies and the competent court decides.
